Snow pics!

All the promised pictures.

How lucky am I that I live next door to [livejournal.com profile] melstav who will snow-blow my driveway for me? So very lucky.

Good pictures of Riley's new ear. Yep, the rumpled bedhead look:

Even the cat ventured out:

But she thought better of staying out long:

Most of my photos of Jodah were a mess. He looked like this:

Or like this:

But sometimes I caught him holding still. This one is better to show the snow depth (look at the top of the trash can!:

There ya go!! pretty and FUN! Unlike the "city cleans the streets" photos. hahahaha.

Cats... so curious, so pissed off when it's cold. ahahha.

That's a shit load of snow. DEEP!
so is it fluffy? or wet? Seems not to be sticking to Jodah's fairly furry coat, so I'm guessing dry-ish.

[identity profile] meecie.livejournal.com 2015-02-02 04:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it's dry and reasonably fluffy because of how cold it is. Could have been a lot worse! I'm still waiting on the official total for my area, but the airport got 17 inches, probably a bit less up here, but yeah, it was a LOT of snow.

And again I loudly say
"SUN!!!" :)
That is the only thing missing from this nearly perfect morning here!

The sun makes everything just gorgeous this morning, though yes, freaking cold. Sparkly!

I love the picture of your cat in the snow. How great to get your driveway blown out.

She's pretty disgusted that I've taken away her warm pavement and her grass. Because clearly, it's my fault.

You're so mean to that cat.

Fun pictures of all your critters, but the dogs look especially delighted.

They've had a fun couple of days :-)

can you box some of that up and send it out this way please?
Snow blowing neighbor for the win!!!
Dogs just look so good in the snow.

I did scoop the majority of the snow off their cars, so maybe it's even? Though to be honest, I think my driveway took him longer. So much snow....

Yeah. It's a pretty safe bet that clearing your driveway and the street between your driveway and the the clear path took longer than clearing off our cars. The snow was nice and deep.

But no worries. I already had the snowblower going so I figure what the hell. I mean, it's not as if I'm in danger of giving myself a heart attack by walking behind the snowblower. If I were trying to move all that snow by hand, that'd be a different story.

[identity profile] meecie.livejournal.com 2015-02-03 01:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh. The cars did take me a while. The drift on the hood of the focus was impressive. But yeah.

And if the plows finally come through tonight, I may come park in your driveway after I get back from school, just long enough for me to shovel my driveway back out....

Look at all that snow! We've only gotten that amount here in Seattle a couple of times in the past 25 years.
