Another 10 or so inches on top of the 9 we got on new year's day. It's hard for me to judge exactly how much is out there with the drifting, but it's always at least calf deep and sometimes well over the knees. I shoveled the front walk and the driveway and dug out my car, but called into work because my road hasn't been plowed (at all, since the first), and I just can't make it past that.

After the digging, I took the dogs for a short romp in the empty field next door, since it was 13 out and that's the forecast high for the day. The wind is already kicking up, which should make the drifting interesting. Record-breaking low temps forecast tonight. There won't be much outside time for them after this for a couple days, at least until the temps rise above 10-15 again.
