So the storm lasted a good half day longer than the forecast originally said. We ended up with maybe 8 inches of snow, and even when it's light and flluffy, that's a lot to deal with. And with the wind, the roads didn't get cleared at all, really. Driving was horrible:
(please note the red light. I was at a full stop when this photo was taken:)
And I was so glad I'd shoveled my sidewalk and all around my car this morning, because it didn't look like I'd done a thing by the time I got home from work:
The dogs were cute though. Riley kept losing (and finding) tennis balls in the back yard, and Jodah seemed to relish making a shovel-shape out of his soft frisbee and dragging it through the snow and then shaking it off. I need to film that, it's freaking adorable.
It's supposed to get down to -6 tonight. I generally don't have a problem with pipes freezing, but these temps are pushing it a bit. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
And I promise not to make too many weather complaining posts, that will get old quick.
